Capacity Joint Table Human Resources Committee

The Human Resources Committee included members from the voluntary sector and government. It was tasked by the CJT to determine how best to use the CJT dollars allocated to paid human resources in the voluntary sector. The Committee identified its goal as strengthening the capacity of the sector to attract, optimize and hold top talent. The first task of the HR Committee was to understand the current state of human resources in the voluntary sector, and any key trends in the workforce that should be considered. Background research resulted in two reports:

Using this background information, the Committee convened a Think Tank on Human Resources in the sector, and developed two projects to address the main goal of the Committee:

The Committee’s work ended with the completion of Phase I of the VSI.
